H! I’m Christi Janaye, a freelance painter based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I create detailed oil paintings that bring my subjects to life with beauty and depth.

 

Art has always been a passion of mine. After studying Graphic Design and Oil Painting in college, I spent 3 ½ life-changing years in full-time missions. I primarily served on the media team, through graphic design, photography, videography and social media - all while traveling the world and witnessing Jesus change people's lives. Those years were the most transformative of my life—they opened my eyes to the incredible worthiness of Jesus and deepened my understanding of His love and faithfulness. Serving Him in that way taught me the beauty of surrender, the joy of obedience, and the importance of sharing His love with others.

 

This season is about continuing that mission but in a different way—using my art to reflect the heart and character of God. Through my paintings, I hope to create moments of awe, inspire connection, and invite others to encounter His beauty and love.
